About VineTrack
VineTrack was created by Jonathan Hambrook, owner and vigneron at Stockman’s Ridge Wines in Orange, New South Wales.
Jonathan’s background is from 25+ years in the IT Industry and 24+ years in viticulture. And it comes from the day-to-day reality of running a vineyard: managing blocks, rows, machinery, spray records, rainfall, maintenance, staff communication and seasonal decisions, often while standing in the vineyard, not sitting behind a desk.
Like many growers, Jonathan found that vineyard records were often spread across notebooks, spreadsheets, messages, photos, maps and memory. Jobs were completed in the field, but the information needed later for planning, compliance or business review was not always easy to find, connect or report on.
VineTrack started from that problem.
The goal was simple: create a practical platform that helps vineyard teams record work as it happens, understand what has been done, and bring field activity back into one clear system.
Built from real vineyard experience
VineTrack has been developed around the needs of working vineyards, not just office administration.
It is designed to help growers capture field activity, track trips and row coverage, record pins and observations, manage spray records, monitor machinery and maintenance, review weather and rainfall, and report on vineyard costs by block, variety and vintage.
The platform combines a mobile app for field use with a web portal for management, reporting and oversight. This gives vineyard teams a better connection between what happens on the ground and what needs to be reviewed in the office.
Why VineTrack exists
Vineyards are complex businesses. Every season involves hundreds of small decisions and repeated tasks across different blocks, varieties, equipment and people.
VineTrack exists to make that information easier to capture, easier to understand and easier to use.
It was built to reduce reliance on paper notes, scattered spreadsheets and disconnected systems, while giving growers a more practical view of their vineyard operations.
